A morbid symphony of frantic yowls and thunderous revving engines swirls about the deadly tarpit. The air is packed with doomed sounds. A giant sloth struggles to free itself from the sticky grasp. Nearby, a Segway’s gyroscopic innards fill with a choking blend of peat moss and watery mud, rendering it paralyzed to do anything but sink to the bottom of this horrible burbling abyss.
