“Me No Like” is a book of eight illustrations, each paired with a blurb of text that loosely relates to it. It was done in 2005. At this point the machinery of a freshly reelected Bush America was displaying itself like some grotesque peacock, replete with stretched Hummer limosines, bland corporate sculptures and ubiquitous surveillance cameras. In “Me No Like” cavemen-monkey-monster-whatevers use primitive weaponry to hunt and attack this materialist behemoth like big game in a contemporary high capitalist ice age.
